Dock Installation & Delivery Across British Columbia

We barge, crane, and install custom aluminum docks anywhere on the B.C. coast including remote islands and sites with no road access.

We Handle the Heavy Lifting

Getting a dock to your waterfront is often the hardest part of the project. CoastMetalWorks takes care of everything — from site assessment and permitting guidance to marine transport and final installation. With our specialized barge and crane equipment, we deliver and install docks in locations that most companies can’t reach, including remote islands, steep shorelines, and tidal waterways throughout B.C.

Dock delivery by barge to remote BC waterfront location

Marine Transport

Our own barge and crane equipment delivers docks to places most builders can't reach — remote islands, steep shorelines, deep tidal inlets, and properties with no road access. If your site is only reachable by water, that's exactly what we're built for.

Professional Installation

Our crew handles anchoring, leveling, piling attachment, and securing — and we assemble on-site when a build is too large to transport whole. Everything is aligned, tensioned, and checked against your site's tidal range before we hand it over.

Province-Wide Service

From our Sunshine Coast shop to Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, Desolation Sound, and northern B.C. — if it's a B.C. waterfront, we deliver and install there.

From Shop to Shoreline — Our Process

1. Site assessment. We review your shoreline, water depth, tidal swing, and access — on-site or from photos and charts for remote locations — to design a dock that fits your conditions.

2. Design & fabrication. Your dock is custom-built in aluminum at our Sunshine Coast shop, typically ready in 4–6 weeks after materials arrive.

3. Permitting guidance. We help you navigate dock management planning and provincial approvals so your installation is fully above-board.

4. Marine transport. We barge your dock to site including locations accessible only by water.

5. Installation. Our crew anchors, levels, and secures everything on-site, assembling larger builds in the water where needed.

6. Handover. We walk the finished dock with you and make sure it's ready to use for years.
